Do mean ever get mad because they don't have multiple orgasms? I'm just curious.

It's online!

That's right. My novella, Last Chance, is now available for my adoring public to purchase. (grin) It's hard to believe that it's really happening. I still have to pinch myself every so often to make sure I'm awake and not living in a lovely dream. Yeah, that's very cliche, but it's soooo true!

I had started a 'new' story. Well, not new as I had began it some months back and then abandoned it for whatever reason, but now I must settle down and get started again. Still, I'm published. Woo-hoo!

No. Nothing else exciting in my life right now. Well, yes, there are other things going on, but nothing this big.

P.S. Did I already say to go buy it? LOL

Last Chance, my e-book published by Freya's Bower, is being formatted. I don't know when it will be available to the public, but it's going to be soon. Woot! I am so excited. I can't believe it's really happening. Will some body pinch me?

Done editing!

I can't believe it. Jana, my editor at Freya's Bower just told me that I am done. Done? It's amazing! I want to jump for joy. I feel like cavorting around the house in my slinkiest lingerie and tormenting my honey. I'm sure he won't protest too much. That's after I eat some Hagen Daaz Rocky Road ice cream. LOL Hey, I might as well celebrate as my WIP is stalling a little bit. (sigh)

This morning, I made some bacon. My honey (he's not my husband although we've lived together for about 10 years now) and I have an agreement. If I cook, he cleans and vice versa. Except it doesn't always seem to work that way. It seems like if I cook something that uses our large pan, he "puts it in the sink to soak". Well, you all know what that means, right? It means that I will be the one to clean it because he will let it soak for however long it takes for me to clean it.

Now, does that sound like our agreement? I didn't think so.

So, as soon as I know when my book Last Chance is available, I will let every one know. Gah! I am so excited. :)

Progress on my sex scenes. A friend made a suggestion on how to spice up the first one to bring it more in tune with the second one. So, I did that and wished my hubby wasn't so tired and already in bed. (sigh)

I am excited about this whole process. Even though Last Chance is only a novella, editing and polishing it for publication is something new for me. I've always been something of a closet writer. Oh, I've been published in the past, but I've never really pursued it that much. It's been quite a while since any of my writings have seen the light of day beyond my computer screen. Then when I read about Freya's Bower being open for submissions and their connection to Wild Child Publishing, I knew I had to rewrite LC as an erotic novel and take my chances. I was lucky to have them accept my ms even though I am still learning the intricacies of writing sex scenes.

If you think it's easy to write one, try it. Honestly, they can be tricky. The hardest part is making the action flow without using cliches or getting bogged down with euphemisms or explicit language. I am still learning, but I think my sex scenes are improving. They at least make me hot. LOLOLOL

Okay. It grows late here, and I have one more day of teaching before the weekend. By the end of the week, those little ones wear me out. Their energy and insatiable appetite for learning is inspiring, but tiring.

So, I'm off to sleep... soon.

Got my edit back for my novella. I was pleasantly surprised. I mean, Jana had a lot of really good suggestions, but nothing major. So, I was happy to see I wouldn't have to do a huge rewrite. Of course, I have revised and revised this story. One more revision wouldn't kill me. It might have driven me nuts, but it certainly wouldn't kill me. However, I do need to work on the sex scenes. I am waiting for a response from my wonderful editor to see what she thinks.

I am working on a new novella. (I say novella because I don't know if I will ever write a full-length novel. It's the attention span. :D) It's a paranormal romance. It's been challenging so far.

Oh, have to go. I'll be back later.

Hi everyone!

I have no idea what I am doing, but I hope you will come in and join me as I delve into my inner psyche. Ha! Not likely! Delving is not something I am apt to do. I'd rather be writing or reading romance/erotica novels.

So, who is Kit Wylde. A wild and crazy kind of gal... well, in my alter ego, that is. In real life, I am just a grade school teacher who lives the normal life like everyone else. Kind of boring, huh? That's why I like to escape into the world of my imagination. LOL No, I enjoy creating, and someday, when I am a famous romance author, I will write children's books too and read them in the schools. Why? Because I can. LOL Isn't that what famous people do now? :D

I am extremely excited about my new novella to be published at Freya's Bower called Last Chance. It's not out yet, but due out by some time this year. (No date yet, but I am hoping in the next couple of months.) The cover is gorgeous! I am amazed that I am being published, am amazed at how nice these people are, and can't wait for the publishing to happen.

The cover:

It's a take of the Ryder Waite Tarot Card deck of the "Lovers". Yes, that does have something to do with my book plot. I love it.

My erotica is more romance than erotic as I am fairly new to writing steamy scenes. I am much more comfortable writing the romance than the sex scenes. I suppose that will change, but for now, I write them while my honey is near by and with a blush on my face.

Okay. I've got to run.
