The Whispering House: Book 2 was released last month. So far, there have been two very positive reviews for it, which made me smile. However, Book 3 has since come out, and again I have two more reviews. Guess what? One was really good; the other one blew my socks off. It's not online yet, but you can bet I'll be shouting about it as soon as it's available for all to see. Oh, and the reviewer likes Book 3 so much they are going to include it in their weekly newsletter and in a column on another site.

Now, peeps, I do write for me first and foremost, so these types of reviews should be just icing on the cake. Yeah, I know. I shouldn't be so excited about it, but you know, I've had my share of good and bad reviews and I have to say that I much prefer the good reviews. LOL If that makes me egotistical, then so be it. Well, actually, I think it just makes me human.


The reviewers have called this series frightening. It's meant to be. :) My goal has been to scare my editor, who is none other than M.E. Ellis the awesome psychological thriller/chick lit author and amazing editor/person. If I can make her nervous, that's a good thing. There is a romance element in it and a small sex scene so far. We have two hunky men interested in one woman. She will end up with one of them, but I won't say who, or that will spoil it for you. (grin) However, I do want to share the reviews. :)

The second review, by Frost, for The Whispering House: Book 3 is marvelous and so flattering that it made my eyes tear up. I am not an emotional person, but this one really made my day. :) It's supposed to be online Friday some time. I'll be waiting impatiently for it so that I can share it with you too. :)
